In the unfortunate event of a claim becoming necessary, we will do everything possible to ensure that a prompt and fair settlement is achieved in the shortest possible time.

In most cases it will be necessary to complete a claim form and you should contact us as soon as possible after the incident so that we can can formally notify your insurance company and send you the correct claim form.

We will ensure that your claim is properly presented to the insurance company to ensure that your dealings with your insurance company will be kept to a minimum.

Your claim will be processed more expeditiously if these actions are taken:

• If possible, take photographs of all damaged property.
• Retain any damaged goods so that the insurer has the option to examine them.
• Two repair estimates should be obtained, if applicable. If items have been stolen, two estimates for replacement should be obtained.
• If the incident is a result of a criminal act, the police must be notified and the crime reference number must be retained.
• If there have been any witnesses to the incident, their name and address should be obtained, together with a statement.
